This is an independent travel guide to the Perhentian Islands in Malaysia. It covers the practical side of a trip: getting there, where to stay, the boats from Kuala Besut, beaches, diving and snorkelling, and the weather.

Who it is for

It is for anyone planning a visit. That might mean choosing between Kecil and Besar, picking a beach or a resort, working out the boat transfer, deciding when to go, or comparing the Perhentians with Redang and Langkawi.
